It all began with a single, yet diverse in itself, aim of “Spreading Professionalism”. ACM Student Chapter is one of the most dynamic societies of Punjab University College of Information Technology that has been organizing SOFTEXPO, the biggest national tech exposition of Pakistan, for nearly 6 years now. The aim behind the inception of SOFTEXPO was to provide the young generation of Pakistan, the future, with a platform to give exhibit and model their new and reformed ideas regarding technology and has maintained its tradition of attracting a huge audience year after year. SoftExpo is THE Exhibition for every techie out there. It's the best platform where students get to present and hone their IT skills simultaneously. Being a part of such an interesting initiative has definitely been one of the most interesting endeavor during my stay at PUCIT. From a Local University level competition to a National level platform for IT students all over Pakistan, I was lucky to be a part of Softexpo when it was taking these baby steps in becoming a platform where students can showcase their work in front of the world. Softexpo is a special event for PASC as well as for PUCIT and I wish them all the best to organize this event in the best way possible.
